Second album by this '90s German group sounds like the offspring of great '70s German progressive rock Faust, Can, and early Kraftwerk retrofitted in Chicago circa 1995. Comparisons to Tortoise and Brise-Glace may be valid for the use of cutting, editing, and tape manipulation in the instrumental rock sound -- however, they approach their mix with studious austerity and inventive improvisation. ~ Skip Jansen, All Music Guide
