Although overall FM is nothing more than a mediocre (and thoroughly dishonest) comedy, it does have a certain appeal for those who were in high school in the late 1970s and relish the opportunity of hearing a little vintage Linda Ronstadt or Eagles. It also boasts a pretty decent cast, although none of them are really utilized appropriately or shown off to their best advantage.
