After failing miserably to duplicate the success and quality of Tim Burton's Pee Wee's Big Adventure with Big Top Pee-Wee, one has to wonder why director Randal Kleiser would get the keys to another popular franchise. Perhaps Kleiser isn't completely to blame, but Honey, I Blew Up the Kid is an altogether unworthy follow-up to 1989's Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, nonetheless.
