Basically Grumpy Old Men (1993) get elected to the White House, this comedy gets the funny parts down just right and features picture-perfect casting in the form of James Garner and Jack Lemmon. There's even some nifty political parody going on here in the form of Garner's JFK-style womanizing and Lemmon's Reagan-esque speaking fees.
