This decidedly odd blend of genres seldom lacks the ambition to rise above programmer level. However, it is still quite entertaining and, if taken on its own level, Silent Rage is actually one of the best Chuck Norris vehicles. The script wisely plays to Norris' limitations as an actor, giving him a character built to fit his stoic persona and offering up enough subplots to ensure Norris doesn't have to carry the entire film on his shoulders.
