Less than a year after the box-office hit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, the sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, returned the four crime-fighting turtles to the big screen. Not surprisingly, this silly story is more contrived than the first, which had at least offered a little mysticism by way of Master Splinter and the turtles' origin.
