As scripted by the legendary Larry Cohen (It's Alive, God Told Me To), the story of Uncle Sam meanders back and forth between ultra-patriotic fervor and subversively anti-government sentiments, often confusing in stance but certainly more interesting than the standard zombie slasher story.
