What we have here is the basic 1950s B-movie "mutant critters running amok" saga, with not much new going for it except for some credible special effects (which should be a given, considering director Michael Lantieri's background) and an excellent performance by Jill Hennessey as Victoria, a heroine who faces up to bully humans as well as brazen reptiles.
