This direct-to-video sequel has all the pluses going for it of the previous adventures, not the least of which include good energy, funny dialogue, effective special effects, and a cast that is clearly enjoying hearty bonhomie and esprit du corps. It was daring for director Brent Maddock to enhance the creatures by giving them dragon-like wings, but it works very well and the computer generated effects are convincingly integrated.
