    Watchmen's superheroes are a lonely, psychologically unhinged bunch. Zack Snyder's big screen adaptation of the revered graphic novel illuminates super-mental disarray above all. Jumping a seemingly insurmountable hurdle, Snyder breathes cinematic life into Alan Moore's allegedly "unfilmable" masterpiece.
