Night Watch director Timur Bekmambetov helms his first English-language feature film with this big-screen adaptation of Mark Millar's action-packed graphic novel. Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy) is a cube-dwelling hypochondriac whose uneventful life has become a mundane blur of terminal boredom. ...more
“I don’t know who I am!” wails a banged up and bloody James McAvoy somewhere in the first third of the new super-slick action flick Wanted. And while that existential admission—identity, the quest for self—may be the heart of this futuristic assassin tale, it’s certainly not the film’s soul. That, as it turns out, belongs entirely to flashy special effects and crunchy sequences of violence. Did somebody order another comic book movie? We can’t tell whether Wanted wants to have a message, a ...more

The movie wanted had a great story i thought it had action through most of the movie which i liked very much. I also think that the makers of this movie made a great choice of picking Angelina Jolie to play as fox to tell you the truth i could not picture anyone else to play as fox besides Angelina Jolie she really owned that character good. I think of Angelina Jolie's BIGGEST FAN which is why i gave the movie 4 stars. I did NOT LIKE that Angelina Jolie died at the end of the movie. If she would've lived i believe that the sequel (if there is going to be one) would have been an awesome movie also because Wes and Fox would have been an awesome team.James is a good actor he and was a good person to picked to play as Wes because he was a funny guy and he had what it took to play as the character. He also made a good team with Angelina Jolie. Morgan Freeman played his character very well as always. I like how he acts in his movies. WANTED was a good movie and i recommend it to those who are interested. Personally i think WANTED was the BEST movie i have seen in my life so far.

Wanted, which is from the Russian director who made the excellent modern vampire movies Night Watch and Day Watch, features non-stop action. No one in the theatre fidgeted once as the pace of the movie kept all eyes locked on the screen.
James McAvoy's character starts off as a sad-sack cubicle worker until he is awakened to the powers he possesses. Over the course of the movie, his stamina and knowledge increases to where he is a force to be reckoned with.
While there might be a few hitches in the storyline, don't worry about them. Instead, enjoy the filmmaking, which at times moves faster than life itself. People applauded at the end of the movie, they liked it that much.
