    For any horror flick, audience fright is job one, and audience laughter can be the death knell of the whole operation. Horror movies that choose the higher road of supernatural themes and suspense to elicit thrills (as opposed to the gore-porn of slasher flicks) also run the risk of toeing the surprisingly thin line between the two reactions.
