ARTISTdirect.com Trivia Hunt Rules, Terms and Conditions:

  1. Every week we will post a new set of trivia questions

  2. To answer the questions, search for the answers hidden throughout the artistdirect.com site.

  3. Every week one winner will be chosen from those who answer the questions correctly. Decisions of the ARTISTdirect.com staff are final.

  4. Prize: Every week one winner will win $500 in a selected gift card.

  5. The Staff of ARTISTdirect.com are the sole determiner of the answers to the questions.

  6. You will need to assure us that you are at least 18 years of age or older, when you let us have your details.

  7. Deadline: All entries must be submitted and received by the ARTISTdirect staff by midnight Pacific Time (U.S.) on each Tuesday night, unless the trivia hunt is no longer running or the rules have been modified. Duration: The contest will run from September 24, 2008 to February 10, 2009.

  8. Each previous week's winner will be posted on the site at the weekly entry page.

  9. Each week's winner will be notified by email and must respond in order to receive the weekly prize. If no response is provided in 24 hours of notification, then another winner will be chosen.

  10. No purchase necessary.

  11. By entering the contest/sweepstakes, you are giving ARTISTdirect permission to contact you in the future via newsletters and other potential promotions.

  12. Eligibility: Void where prohibited by law. ARTISTdirect, Inc. employees, staff, contributing writers and their agents, the sponsor of the contest page and the immediate families of the aforementioned are not eligible to win.

  13. To enter: Complete and submit the form on this page of the ARTISTdirect.com site. All fields marked with an * are required. Entries submitted with blank fields or with inappropriate information will be discarded.

  14. Multiple entries are allowed, so feel free to enter as many times as you like.

  15. By entering the Trivia Hunt contest and sweepstakes, all entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  16. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time.

  17. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means will be disqualified. Any entry information collected from the contest/sweepstakes shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by entrants at the time of entry and with ARTISTdirect.com’s On-line Privacy Policy, which can be found at: http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/misc/policy/0,,,00.html. All entries become property of ARTISTdirect.com.

  20. General: This contest/sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. If any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an Alternate Winner will be selected. All federal, state or other tax liabilities (including income tax) arising from this contest/sweepstakes will be the sole responsibility of each prize Winner. Except where prohibited by law, each Winner's entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the contest/sweepstakes entities to use said winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state) worldwide and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation. This contest/sweepstakes is subject to these official rules. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the contest/sweepstakes or these official rules. Limitations of Liability: ARTISTdirect Internet Group, Inc., ARTISTdirect, Inc., any Internet access providers, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their agents, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, and agents (collectively 'Released Parties') disclaim any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry of entry information, human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, inability to access any web site or download materials, damage to a user's computer system (hardware & software) due to participation in this contest/sweepstakes, or late, lost, incomplete, misdirected or mechanically reproduced entries. If in the opinion of ARTISTdirect.com, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of this contest/sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of this contest/sweepstakes, ARTISTdirect.com reserves the right to terminate this contest/sweepstakes, and award the prize from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by the ARTISTdirect.com or its designees. Entrants agree to hold harmless the Released Parties from and against all claims and damages arising in connection with their participation and/or entry in this contest/sweepstakes and/or the awarding or use of any prize awarded.

  22. The advertising sponsor of this contest and its related pages is not responsible for the contest, fulfillment of prizes, nor any of the decisions made by ARTISTdirect in the operations and management of the contest.
