ABOUT ME
Interests:
music, love and happiness, peace, and angelic beings... :) my site for music is googled under my name: Roxanne Caballero: the name of my band, which is a solo project is Roxxy and can be viewed on this site: http://www.myspace.com/roxannecaballero I enjoy playing piano, keyboards, guitar, and drums(especially when you need to get some aggression out). I also like delving into learning new instruments, such as violin. I also am an artist. I got a scholarship for art. I like working with anything basically- no limits. I like pencils (colored or not), charcoals, paints(any of them), working with wire, making jewelry, and you know lots more. I believe life is what you make it and there are no limits, except for the ones that you make for yourself. I thank God that I'm alive everyday, especially after suffering a bleeding ulcer, since March of 2008. A lot has happened to me this year of 2008, physically and emotionally, yet I keep on moving on and I know that no good thing is left unnoticed. I love nature and I am constantly intrigued by the beauty in it and all the new things that we keep on finding out in science and so on. I love music and eventually want to make a full career out of it. My father was a musician as well, Eddie Caballero (1957-1989). He bought me my first toy piano when I was 3 yrs. old. He taught me the joy of music and how awesome it felt to create something to share with others. He was, is, and will forever be my inspiration for anything and everything that I do here on this earth. I was raised listening to the Beatles, Led Zepplin, Gentle Giant, Yes, Asia, the Police, John Lennon, Steve Winwood, and others. So, of course, I grew up to be a wild musician as well. haha. jokes, jokes. I will be in the studio recording some songs in Sept. with my awesome friend and engineer, Joe Miraglilo. I have a B.A. in Political Science, and although it was all very interesting... my heart remains in music and will always be. The music and the arts. I am incomplete without my music. Hope to someday meet all the musicians that I'm crazy about. Much love to you all, Shalom and Cheers~ Roxanne~ (Roxxy)
