Country music treasure Alan Jackson is coming the Big Apple. Jackson will perform at the world famous Carnegie Hall in New York on October 28 at 8PM. He's bringing bluegrass to NYC this fall.
This special night of music will feature songs from Jackson's The Bluegrass Album, which is set for release September 24. Jackson, a country vet, wrote eight of the 14 songs on the record himself, which will be released on his own ACR (Alan's Country Records) via EMI Records Nashville.
This is not Jackson's first time at the Carnegie Hall rodeo. Jackson last played the renowned venue in 2005 as part of an all-star Grand Ole Opry 80th Anniversary show celebration. However, for the October 28 performance, he will be joined by the noted bluegrass musicians that are featured on Jackson's The Bluegrass Album.
So it'll be his night.
Tickets may be purchased starting next Monday, September 9 at 11AM. Check CarnegieHall.org for details.
