Jane Scott, an Ohio-based rock music critic who covered the entire spectrum of pop music throughout her very long career, has died at the age of 92. Scott was working through her '80s. An octogenarian rock critic? I hope to follow in her footsteps, that's for sure.
Scott worked for Cleveland's The Plain Dealer for a half-century. She died after battling a long illness, according to reports form her niece that were published in the paper.
R.I.P., Jane Scott. Your words and your style will be missed. She used to carry extra pens in case rock stars and pop stars ganked her pens when she sought autographs.
Do you read rock music criticism and journalism? Do you have a favorite writer? I know, it's me, right?
