Eric Benét Releases New Song to Radio

R&B soul singer, songwriter, and producer Eric Benét, who is better known for cheating on Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry than he is for his music, released a brand-new single, entitled "Sometimes I Cry" to radio yesterday. The track is the first single from Benét's fifth studio album, Lost in Time, which will be released by Reprise Records this Fall. So it's a preview of what's to, ahem, come! Something tells me Berry won't be loading this track onto her iPod any time soon.
The album is the follow-up to Benét's ultra-romantic 2008 album Love & Life, which was nominated for a 2009 Grammy Award for "Best R&B Album," while its No. 1 Urban/AC radio single "You're the Only One," was nominated for "Best Male R&B Vocal Performance." It's clear that despite his personal scandals, the singer is still loved in the smooth-as-buttah R&B world.
