Friends to Release "Manifest!" on June 5

After beating out of Bushwick in 2011 with two buzzworthy singles and videos plus a reputation for turning live gigs into spontaneous DIY parties (and vice versa) Brooklyn quintet Friends will release their debut album Manifest! on June 5 via Fat Possum Records.
The album was produced by the band – singer Samantha Urbani, multi-instrumentalists Lesley Hann, Matthew Molnar, and Nikki Shapiro, and drummer Oliver Duncan. They recorded its 12 tracks between last summer and this spring with engineer Daniel Schlett at Strange Weather studios in Brooklyn.

Friends will be taking their show on the road in their first ever North American headlining tour. The dates begin on June 13 at Boston's Bright Music Hall, and conclude on July 7 at New York's famed Bowery Ballroom.
