FYF Fest (f/k/a F*ck Yeah Fest), L.A.'s annual two-day music festival, just announced details of the upcoming 2016 event. The dates for the festivities this year, expected to happen once again at the Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park, are August 27th and 28th. Though fest organizers have yet to reveal headliners and the rest of the lineup, the odds are good they will include a handful of acts also promoted by the fest, including Grimes, Four Tet, Explosions in the Sky, Mac DeMarco, DIIV, Daphni (Dan Snaith from Caribou), Madlib, Floating Points, Ben UFO, and Memphis newcomer Julien Baker, as all are playing area shows in the months before.

Fest organizers, including fest founder Sean Carlson, are also really big on pets. "Hope you can join us for this winter's pet adoption drive, The Great Escape, on February 21st at Moorpark Park in Studio City," the promoter's email reads. "We will be raffling off passes to FYF Fest and, more importantly, you may find the love of your life."
