Levi Johnston, who has enjoyed some fame as Kathy Griffin's sidekick, of sorts, and for recently reuniting with his baby mama Bristol Palin, who is the daughter of former Vice Presidential hopeful and that notorious threat to women's rights known as Sarah Palin, is staying in the press. The boyishly good-looking Johnston will make his music video debut in a new video from singer-songwriter Brittani Senser. The pair will shoot the "After Love" video in Los Angeles next month. The news was confirmed by Universal Music and by Johnston's attorney.
RIn the clip, Johnston is said to play a lover whose romance is thwarted by his girlfriend's disapproving mother! Since Palin is unhappy with the reunion between her daughter and Johnston, this video is certainly a case of life imitating art and if gets under Sarah's skin, then, hey, I am all for supporting Johnston's new career path!
"He's looking forward to doing it," Rex Butler, Johnston's attorney in Anchorage, Alaska, said Friday. "It will give him an opportunity to act a little bit in front of a camera. He's done a commercial before, but something like this is a little more involved."
According to a written description of the video's story line, the couple share tender moments before they are driven apart by the young woman's mother. Unaware that her mom's interference forced her boyfriend to go, she "throws herself into her mother's arms. She tells her mother that she was wrong about Levi." Someone should loop this video on a TV in the Palin home once it's shot and edited and ready to go!
Senser herself said she'd be glad to have Bristol Palin "come on down and hang out" with her and Johnston at the Teen Choice Awards and during the video shoot.
