Australian duo VOWS is made up of Sydney natives Matt and Rizz. The two craft music fit for a seedy, underground dance club: infectious beats, grinding synths and post-punk-tinged guitar lines. Drawing inspiration from film, literature and the pop culture they grew up on, VOWS will release their self-titled EP on June 4.
We don't want you to wait another couple of weeks, though. Listen to the buzzy, thudding and thoroughly awesome song "Symbol System" below. It's a cinematic track, one that feels like machine churning against machine, but tempered by melodic sensibilities.
