Los Angeles quintet takes us round and round a shimmering electro alternative pop gem with "Circles" feat. Vanic.

machineheart fashion a truly engaging and entrancing musical treasure with their new single "Circles" featuring Vancouver electronic dance music producer Vanic. The Los Angeles quintet are a favorite on Hype Machine, and they're gearing up to drop their first album for Columbia Records later this year. "Circles" is going to really ignite everything for them though. It's got a sweeping power, passion, and poise to properly announce their arrival with fitting aplomb. They also quickly separate themselves from the other electro alternative pop bastions with a simmering, soulful flavor. It's classic in its essence—like some kind of intergalactic take on Fleetwood Mac.
Fingersnaps, synths, guitars, and a steady beat cycle in and out of each other with beeps reminiscent of eighties pop. It gets romantic as frontwoman Stevie Scott's voice simply glistens and glows. She can hypnotize with just a croon, and it's a magic that she wields wisely. You'll fall under her spell after just one listen too, we promise. "Circles" is just a sliver of what they have to offer, and the band—Scott, Trevor Kelly [acoustic guitar], Harrison Allen [drums], Carman Kubanda [electric guitar], and Jake Randle [bass]—are primed for a very big 2015.
"Circles" has already cracked Spotify's coveted Viral 50, and more and more listeners continue to discover machineheart by the day. This is the shape of alternative pop to come.
