Indie website Pitchfork holds an annual fest in Chicago and now the venerable titan of indie rock criticism will launch a New York City edition. The New York Times reports that the NYC fest will differ from that of the Windy City in that this event will include presentations from visual artists and game designers around the city, in addition to 50-75 bands.

No dates have been revealed, but it will be several days long.
