Throw some snowballs at Denver's SnowBall Music Festival this April.
Colorado's biggest music festival has found a new home in Colorado's biggest city. With three sold-out years under its belt, Colorado's SnowBall Music Festival rolls into the Mile High City in 2014, landing at The Park at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on April 4, 5 and 6. Delivering its diverse lineup of world-class musicians and its unique mountain lifestyle vibe to the exciting urban backdrop of Denver, Colorado – SnowBall 2014 promises its biggest and best year yet.
Hosting 65 international, national and local artists playing four stages over three nights, SnowBall 2014 will transform the outdoor venue with innovative integration of creative design throughout the festival experience - from custom three dimensional film installations, nightly fireworks displays, "Big Air" ski and snowboard exhibitions, and more.
Days during SnowBall are still snow days, with chartered shuttles and discounted ski packages to several of the nearby ski resorts available to SnowBall patrons. Festival-goers can bundle transportation, lift tickets, hotel and more with their event ticket purchases. After the festival each night, fans can spill out into the streets of Denver to enjoy the event's ever-expanding late night scene, with after-hours shows to be hosted at many of the city's popular music venues. Stay tuned at snowballmusicfestival.com for details as they become available.
After hopping around to various Colorado mountain towns for the past three years, SnowBall Producer Chad Donnelly feels like the festival has finally found its home in Denver. "We've been searching for just the right balance of the best access to mountain communities, outdoor winter activities and travel amenities such as lodging and transportation," says Donnelly. "As it turns out, Denver provides the best access to all of those." Donnelly is confident that the move will make the experience better for both Colorado locals and those who travel from out-of-state to attend the festival. "We promise to deliver everything our community loves about the SnowBall experience, now conveniently hosted in the heart of state we all love so much. We couldn't be more excited about our new home."
