Time to Take Aim with Wannabe Jalva's Felipe Puperi. He's fun and has a cool name, and even cooler answers to our uncool questions. The band hails from Porto Alegre, Brazil, so dig in!

We are Wannabe Jalva, we came from a tropical country and we sound like bubbles in the sky. No rules, music is our deal. Join us.
If you were not doing music, you would be…
Driving an vintage motor home around the world.
Any non-music hobbies, talents or skills?
Rafael is an art director, Tiago is an autodidact, Paulista likes motorcycles and I'm learning to cook pasta.
Pick ONE song one your record and share a writing or recording story. Something intimate, that you haven't told anyone else (or at least a bunch of writers or journalists) and that which puts us in the moment with you. Let's get intimate, shall we?
'Melt,' the second track off Collecture [iTunes link], is about a love story between a regular guy and a prostitute. I've never told this story to any writer, so consider yourself lucky! This song is not talking about me specifically, but I caught myself thinking in how many cases these girls really like to be with strangers, and the boys are lonely enough to feel comfortable with someone that doesn't care about their personality or faults. When I started writing this lyric, it all came in my head in about 15 minutes; it never happens to me. I guess it's not possible to know it just by reading the lyrics or listening to the song, cause I tried to put it in a subtle way. 'Read my finger/ melt my brain/Cause I know all the things that you can do.'
Finish this sentence: Wannabe Jalva is the artist that…
...travel without moving.
Do you...Wannabe?
