Congrats to The Grand Ole Opry House, home of the Opry since the venue opened in 1974, as it has been added to the National Register of Historic Places, the nation's official list of cultural resources worthy of preservation.
Worth of preservation it is!
Regarded as the home of country music, the world-famous venue was recognized because of its impact on popular culture and the entertainment industry. It is one of six sites in Tennessee recently added to the list.
Go Opry.
Have you ever been to Tennessee? What did you see and where did you go? It is a beautiful state!
