Tri-state Area Music Artists Can Enter the Third Annual "Z100's Hometown Hero" Competition

Local NYC area bands have the plummest of plum opportunities thanks to pop radio station Z100.
New York's Hit Music Station, Z100 launched its third annual "Hometown Hero" competition presented by State Farm™. Unsigned music artists/bands in the tri-state area (N.Y., N.J. and Conn.) can compete to win their chance to perform live at the Z100 and Coca-Cola All Access Lounge at the Hammerstein Ballroom that serves as the pre-event to Z100's legendary Jingle Ball 2012 on Friday, Dec. 7 at Madison Square Garden.
The winner will be determined using Eventful's "Demand it!®" social media platform. The top 25 music artists with the most "Demands" will move to the semifinals and a panel of music industry experts will determine five finalists. Music artists should encourage friends and family to vote, add links, YouTube videos and spread the word virally via Facebook and Twitter.
Unsigned artists/bands in the tri-state area have a chance to perform live at the Z100 and Coca-Cola All Access Lounge on Friday, December 7 and walk the press room at Z100's Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden that evening.
Now through Thursday, November 1 at midnight ET, unsigned artists/bands from the tri-state area (N.Y., N.J. and Conn.) can opt in and register for a chance to win Z100's "Hometown Hero" competition.
Where: To opt in and participate in the competition, visit Eventful- fans can "demand" their favorite artist and musicians can register www.eventful.com.
