What's Holding Bastille Up From Recording a New Album?

So what's holding Bastille up from recording a new album? Touring, that's what! Honestly, that's a common scenario among bands.

The band's Dan Smith says Bastille would be done with the follow up to their debut Bad Blood, which dropped back in March of 2013, if they weren't on the road so damn much. #SuccessfulBandProblems.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Both are critical to a new band's sustained success.

"If we weren't touring so much we'd probably have finished the album by now," Smith, who fronts the band, said. "I've never wanted our music to be one thing. I guess we make things when we feel like it."
