Afrofusion superstar Burna Boy dropped a new visual to his single “Gum Body,” off his recently released album African Giant via Bad Habit/Atlantic Records. The visual was directed by Meji Alabi and produced by Jimi Adesanya.
After his show in LA on the 29th, LA Times wrote a glowing review of the show, noting “Anyone walking out of the Wiltern Thursday night did so with clear sight of a new star, for whom Afrobeat is a strain of DNA that informs so much modern music and remakes genres as it travels.” Burna was recently featured on Audiomack’s Trap Symphony where he performed backed by a classically trained orchestra troupe -"Ye" (watch here), "On the Low" (watch here), "Anybody" (watch here). His performances of “Anybody” and “Collateral Damage” are now available on VEVO.
The African Giant also surprised his fans with a new visual to his single “Pull Up” at the end of August. Recently named as an Apple Music “Up Next” artist, Burna Boy made his U.S. network television debut earlier this summer with an incendiary live performance – presented in partnership with Apple Music’s “Up Next” program – on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, streaming HERE. In addition, an exclusive “Apple Music Up Next: Burna Boy” documentary is streaming now HERE. Burna Boy followed up his network television debut with an interview and performance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, streaming HERE. Fellow stars Rhianna and Elton John have also taken interest in Burna Boy, watch HERE!
