See the fall dates supporting the Soundgarden frontman's upcoming album.
Chris Cornell of Soundgarden will release a new solo studio album, Higher Truth, on September 18.
The new album expresses Cornell's continuing evolution as a master songwriter, lyricist and musical craftsman, telling human stories which resonate across genre barriers. Yep, that is pretty much with C. Cornell does.
He will embark on a solo acoustic tour this fall, as well.
Here are three reasons to go.
• It's Chris Cornell of Soundgarden for God's sake. He has a powerhouse voice so to hear it and to see him in an intimate, live setting is pretty thrilling. If you want a room-filming voice, you are going to get it with C. Cornell.
• In addition to hearing some Higher Truth, literally, you will likely get to hear material across his catalog. Again, how can you miss that? He has a catalog full of hits that are timeless and sound good in whatever method in which he chooses to play them.
• While CC is promoting a current album, he is one of the emblems of our favorite decade—the '90s! So of course children of the '90s have to see one of their icons.
