Eddie Vedder Solo Tour Dates Postponed

Eddie Vedder was supposed to hit the road on a solo trek tomorrow, but he had to postpone the dates due to a nagging nerve injury, which is temporary.

Vedder sustained temporary nerve damage in his right arm as the result of a back injury. He needs some time to recover, and has already scheduled the make up dates for the fall. Go here to see the replacement dates.

Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis issued the following statement: "After having worked aggressively with doctors and physical therapists for the last eight weeks to repair the damage, the intensity of the injury and time needed to heal has made it impossible to play the shows as scheduled. There was hope up until the last minute that the treatments would be successful."

Eddie tried. He's a trooper. But now, he must heal.
