Faith No More & Slayer Supergroup - Dead Cross - Announce New Album & Tour

Dead Cross is one of those supergroups that combines the gravity of all contributor's and brings something larger and louder than the sum of it's parts.

Mike Patton of Faith No More, Dave Lombardo of Slayer and Michael Crain and Justin Pearson from Retox have just announced a 25-date tour and upcoming full length album from the hardcore band that brings the best of all members.

The band recently released "Grave Slave" —which you can hear below, and it's a clear indicator of what audiences can expect when the quartet take their noise out on the road. In a statement Lombardo said, "Everything about Dead Cross screams aggression, I have no idea what kind of chaos it will conjure on stage or in the audience ... but I know it's going to be a hell of a good time. Really looking forward to hitting the road with these guys."

With the album scheduled for release on August 4th the tour will kick off less than a week later. Starting the string of dates at the Santa Ana Observatory and ends at the Ogden in Denver on September 23rd, giving fans a range of options to catch the noisefest at least once this summer.

With tickets go on sale this Thursday be sure to beat the line and get your tickets early, remembering that earplugs are also a sensible purchase ahead of any hardcore activities.
