According to Billboard.com and sources close to Guns N' Roses, the band's long-delayed Chinese Democracy disc is indeed on the way through Best Buy sometime this fall/winter. The last time a tentative date was dropped on Interscope's release schedule was in March of 2007, more than a decade after Axl Rose started working on the big budget album.

If the thing actually comes out this year, we can also expect free Dr. Pepper, since the soft drink company promised a free can to "everyone in America" (except for former guitarists Slash and Buckethead) if Chinese Democracy hits shelves in 2008.
