In a partnership with leading music merchandising company Bravado, Cash Money Records and Cash Money Content co-CEO and co-founder, Bryan "Birdman" Williams is proudly moving into the fashion and retail industry with the launch of two apparel brands: Rich Gang & YMCMB.
"As a business owner, I have expanded my portfolio into many different arenas, including spirits and tech. As a longtime fashion enthusiast and the architect of the YMCMB lifestyle, it makes perfect sense to partner with the esteemed Bravado and move into fashion and launch my apparel brands," said Birdman. Rich Gang is a full lifestyle apparel brand encompassing every apparel category including fashion mix, active-wear, denim, basics and outerwear. An aspirational brand, Rich Gang Apparel is composed of quality fabrics and luxury materials, including high thread counts and unique touches such as python accents.
The Rich Gang apparel brand builds upon the elite lifestyle Birdman created around the release of his lauded album Rich Gang, the first ever full-length compilation album from Cash Money Records. Rich Gang, released to all retailers on July 23, features Grammy Award winner Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine, Tyga, Mystikal, Bow Wow, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Limp Bizkit and Busta Rhymes, as well as the YMCMB family's close, chart-topping friends Future, French Montana, T.I. and Meek Mill.
Rich Gang will be showing at once product available for fall and holiday 2013 as well as the full collection available for Spring 2014. The price point for Rich Gang ranges from $48.00 - $98.00USD for fashion mix; $78.00 - $128.00 USD for active-wear; and $88.00 - $120.00 for denim, t-shirts begin at $44.00 USD and outerwear begins at $150.00 USD.
In addition to the Rich Gang Apparel brand, Birdman will also be launching the YMCMB Apparel brand with Lil Wayne. An acronym for Young Money Cash Money Billionaires, YMCMB Apparel is a comfort and relaxed-wear brand.
YMCMB Apparel offers active-wear driven apparel, such as t-shirts as well as outerwear, such as hooded sweatshirts. The YMCMB Apparel is a continuation of the one of a kind YMCMB merchandise made famous by Birdman & Lil Wayne that was only available to YMCMB artists and their close friends. Due to popular demand and increasing interest from fans around the globe, Birdman has expanded YMCMB into a full apparel brand now available to the public.
