Over the weekend, Lil Wayne tweeted, "I AM NOW DEFENSELESS AND mentally DEFEATED & I leave gracefully and thankful I luh my fanz but I'm dun." A number of artists including Chance the Rapper, Missy Elliot, and Flying Lotus tweeted their support of the artist. Drake went on to show his support for his mentor with an Instagram post saying, "The boss @liltunechi. We are fighting until you get yours. Freedom to drop music and peace of mind. I don't know what these other weirdos are on with all the side talks but I know you gave me a shot and all I can ever do with the rest of my life is return the favor. YOUNG MONEY FOREVER".

Drake also brought Lil Wayne out at his show in Houston the following night. During the concert, Wayne yelled "F*** cash money!". He had done this a week before at another Drake show.

Teaming up with Lil Wayne wasn't the only thing Drake was up to over the weekend in Houston either. He also announced that he will be opening a strip club there called "The Ballet". He made the announcement at a pop-up show in H-Town over the weekend saying,

"There's a culture out there of dancing and it's not about no strip club s***. It's about these amazing women that we've got in one spot, the music that we've got, and the Houston culture that we got. I just wanna let you know that I'm going to bring it to you in the most honest and genuine way possible."
