Lil Wayne was staring down an additional three-year jail sentence, but he got a bit of a reprieve. The rapper, who is currently serving his one-year jail sentence at New York's Rikers Island on a gun charge, has been granted probation after pleading guilty to a drug charge in Arizona. Back in '08, Weezy's bus was pulled over by the US Border Patrol and it was loaded with enough drugs to cripple a whole flop house of junkies, ranging from Ecstasy, cocaine and weed, along with a handgun. By pleading guilty, Weezy was able to lessen the chance of receiving even more jail time on top of what he is currently serving for a different crime.
All of the charges were dismissed since Wayne pleaded guilty to a single count of possession of a dangerous drug. He pled guilty via a video from Rikers, since he could not physically be in the Arizona courtroom.
What will be Lil Wayne's first move when he finally gets out of the big house?
