Good things come to those who wait and who have a little patience! MTV News has reported that Lil Wayne's ninth album Tha Carter IV has been bumped to an end-of-summer release. The album is now due in stores on August 29th, as opposed to its originally planned date June 21st.
"He's still perfecting a few things, he's a perfectionist... changing a few lines," Young Money president Mack Maine told MTV, also hinting that they were waiting on some huge features and guest appearances to complete the album. "If you calculate all of that, by the time we would've finished mixing, we wouldn't have met the [original] due date to turn in the album."
