Settled. That's the status of one of Lil Wayne's legal cases. Weezy has settled a $1.5 million lawsuit with a producer who accused the rapper of not paying up for work completed on Tha Carter III.
Producer David Kirkwood filed suit claiming he was still owed royalties from the track "Love Me or Hate Me."
The case will be settled out of court, likely for an undisclosed sum.
A few weeks ago, Weezy also reached confidential settlement with Darius Harrison, who also claimed he was owed cash for his work on the album. Sounds like some sort of weird pattern.
