Weezy is set to unplug!
Rapper Lil Wayne will appear on MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged, which will air across MTV2, MTV and MTV.com on Sunday, June 12th at 9 PM ET/PT. The show will feature Tunechi performing acoustic versions of select hits from his classic catalog.
The show will be MTV's first televised unplugged rap concert since Jay-Z's 2001 special and comes 20 years after LL Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul appeared on the original Yo! Unplugged Rap.
Weezy's Tha Carter IV is due out next month.
