Lil Wayne will be performing at the VMAs on Sunday, Aug. 28 and will make his new album Tha Carter IV available at digital retailers immediately after the VMAs. So you can pick up your copy of Tha Carter IV at midnight following the VMAs broadcast.
"I am extremely excited to be the first artist to utilize such an amazing idea," the rapper said in a statement. "I hope that I can open the door for others."
The physical CD will hit retail stores on Monday, as well.
