Lil Wayne's end is nigh... at least when it comes to his rap career.
In a new interview with XXL, Weezy mused about retirement. "I'm bowing out still on top, I'll make you all want me when I retire," he told the mag. "I honestly think [my career] is unfair to my kids. Honestly this is the real truth. So about [age] 30, 31, 32, I got to get ready [to retire]." Hey, at least his concern also relates to his children. What a good pop Weezy must be.
Weezy is all of 28-years-old, so we think he still has a lot of gas left in the tank. Just sayin'.
Tha Carter IV is due out August 29th, so Weezy is staving off retirement for at least a little longer.
Would you be crushed if Lil Wayne retired? Or do you like his philosophy of going out on top, like a lion, as opposed to a lamb, while keeping his kids the priority?
