The world's most in-demand electronic producer, Marshmello, has delivered a very special sign language video for 'You Can Cry'; his latest single, featuring critically acclaimed singer/ songwriter James Arthur, and Three 6 Mafia member, Juicy J. The platinum-selling producer wants to break down communication barriers and connect with all of his fans, using sign language to make the track accessible to the deaf or hard of hearing. The video coincides with the launch of the #YouCanCryASL challenge on video sharing app Musical.ly, and it encourages all fans to learn and share their sign language interpretation videos of the single 'You CanCry'.
The single, which has amassed over 20 million streams since release, follows Mello's recent UK Top 5 single & iTunes/ Shazam worldwide chart topper, 'Friends' ft. Anne-Marie and platinum selling single 'Silence' ft. Khalid, as well as latest album, Joytime II, which dropped last week.
Marshmello, the worlds biggest masked producer who continues to remain anonymous behind his permanent smile, is re-defining today's music industry, one hit after another. Having exploded into the top 5 Spotify artists in the world, the anonymous artist has clocked up a staggering 2 billion streams, ahead of Ed Sheeran, David Guetta, and Calvin Harris.
Marshmello first catapulted into the spotlight with his 2015 remix of Jack Ü and Justin Bieber's global hit 'Where Are Ü Now', with his summer 2017 single 'Silence' (feat Khalid) selling over 950,000 copies in the UKalone.
Famed for his all-white attire and instantly recognisable Mello-head, Marshmello's singles have been explosive, gaining over 2.2 billion Youtube plays and making their way into major DJ sets worldwide, with Mello himself playing the mainstage of Ultra Music Festival 2018 in Miami, as well as upcoming sets at Tomorrowland, and a headline slot at SW4 Festival in August (a UK festival exclusive).
Having already performed at London's Ministry of Sound, Creamfields, Reading and Leeds festival, and his own sold out headline gig at Brixton's O2 Academy, as well as Ibiza dates at Ushuaia and Amnesia, Marshmello continues to grow, with a fanbase of 5m Facebook followers and 7m on Instagram.
