Where Is Zayn Malik This Week?

One Direction's Zayn Malik was MIA during today's (November 17) promo appearances for FOUR, 1D's fourth album, which is out now.

Where the FUCK is he? Relax. There is no dissent in the 1D ranks. ZM is merely sick.

All of 1D participated in the Band Aid 30 charity single recording in London over the weekend, which aids Ebola efforts. The band then traveled to Orlando, Florida to perform a free show at the Universal Studios theme park, which aired on TODAY, but Malik was missing.

1D's Liam Payne explained what's up and said, "He's got a tummy bug so he's not very well. We only found out this morning, so we're really sad, he is as well, that he can't be here for our album release."

Host Matt Lauer even brazenly asked if it was a more serious matter and if Zayn had a substance abuse problem! WOW! Jeez, Matt! But Mr. Payne handled it flawlessly.

Watch the boys perform a Zayn-less "Steal My Girl," which is odd since he slays on the song.



A band rep also said, "Zayn was taken ill after recording the Band Aid single at the weekend and was unfortunately not well enough to fly to the USA yesterday. He will join the band for promotion for the new album as soon as he possibly can."

Get better soon, Zayn!
