    Biography

    BONNIE RAITT first emerged on the music scene in 1971 with a critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. But she did not fulfill the potential that first album promised until the release of her tenth album, Nick of Time, in 1989. The album swept the Grammys, earning her four awards.
