On June 20 and 21, 2026, Rave Harps Academy Pte. Ltd. will bring Singapore to life with the Asia Harp Fiesta, a two‑day festival that will unite harpists, students, educators and music enthusiasts from across Asia for concerts, workshops and cultural exchange.

This event celebrates a decade of growth for Rave Harps, the academy founded by Singaporean concert harpist, educator and producer Katryna Tan. In ten years, Rave Harps has broadened access for harpists of every age, offering structured training, ensemble projects, competitions, performances and international exposure.

"Asia Harp Fiesta 2026 represents not only a celebration of the harp but also the friendships, collaborations and shared passion that have helped our community grow over the past decade," Tan said in a statement released with the festival announcement.

Designed to weave tighter bonds between harpists across Singapore, Malaysia and the broader Asian community, the programme offers solo, chamber and ensemble concerts, masterclasses, forums and interactive sessions that probe the harp’s evolving place in contemporary music. Tan will open the festival with a performance and unveil a new edition of her signature musical production.

A standout moment will be the debut of PLUCK & PIZZ, a family‑friendly musical that follows Pluck the harp fairy and Pizz the violinist on an adventure of harmony, courage and friendship. The show blends storytelling, theatre and live music, aiming to introduce children and families to the harp. Building on the success of PLUCK – The Harp Musical, billed as the world’s only large‑scale harp musical production, tickets for PLUCK & PIZZ are sold through the festival programme.

Beyond the stage, Rave Harps has helped students win competitions, perform on international stages and secure spots at prestigious institutions like Juilliard, Berklee College of Music and the Royal College of Music. The academy has also nurtured a lively adult community through ensemble projects, community performances and lifelong learning opportunities.

Under Tan’s guidance, Rave Harps has extended its influence beyond Singapore, sparking comparable community initiatives across the region, such as the Penang Rave Harpers. Tan also directs Rave Harps, Singapore’s flagship harp ensemble, and continues to forge performance opportunities that nurture artistic growth while sharing the instrument’s allure with broader audiences.

Scheduled for June 20‑21 in Singapore, the Asia Harp Fiesta will gather harpists, students, educators and music lovers from across the region for two days of performances, learning sessions and cultural exchange. The festival embodies Rave Harps Academy’s steadfast commitment to building platforms that nurture artistic growth, foster collaboration and spark lifelong engagement with music.

With the festival drawing near, Rave Harps remains dedicated to linking students, performers and listeners through enriching musical experiences. The academy seeks to further strengthen Singapore’s harp ecosystem while promoting deeper regional collaboration across Asia.
