Laced Records and Korean studio Shift Up have opened pre‑orders for a vinyl edition of the 2024 action‑adventure game Stellar Blade. Scheduled to arrive in January 2027, the release will come in two editions: a 4‑LP box set with 44 tracks and a double‑LP set with 22 tracks. Both versions are available in classic black, while exclusive coloured variants are sold only through Laced’s own store.

The 4‑LP box set sports “Smokin’ Combo” coloured discs, whereas the double‑LP set features “Stellar Blue” marble discs. Standard black versions can be purchased from Laced and other retail partners. Every vinyl copy includes liner notes penned by the game’s Sound Director, Jooeun Hwang, detailing the creative process behind key tracks and the collaboration between the various music teams.

Shift Up supplied the artwork for the packaging. The box set’s inner sleeves showcase the game’s characters Eve, Lily Artemis II, Tachy, and Raven, while the slipcase presents a sci‑fi character parade. The double‑LP sleeve centers on protagonist Eve, with inner sleeves highlighting Eve and Raven. The design mirrors the game’s visual style and narrative focus.

The tracklist, curated by the Stellar Blade sound team, follows Eve’s journey through the game’s story. Fan favourites such as “Flooded Commercial Sector,” “Everglow,” and “Raven” appear, and every track has been remastered specifically for vinyl playback. The soundtrack spans vocal‑led electronic, K‑Pop, rock, metal, improvisational jazz, and acoustic pieces, offering a sonic portrait of a doomed yet hopeful sci‑fi future.

In a statement released with the vinyl announcement, Jooeun Hwang said, “For the music of Stellar Blade, our priority was to preserve and highlight the unique identity of each individual composer and artist, while ensuring that those individual voices were ultimately used to express Stellar Blade itself.” The quote appears in the liner notes and underscores the collaborative nature of the game’s score.

Stellar Blade, developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, launched on PlayStation 5 on April 26 2024. A Windows version followed on June 11 2025, and a Nintendo Switch 2 version is slated for 2026. By June 2025 the game had sold over three million copies worldwide. It received nominations for Best Action Game and Best Score and Music at The Game Awards 2024 and won seven categories at the Korean Game Awards 2024.

The vinyl release arrives amid a broader trend of game soundtracks finding new life on physical media. Laced Records has previously partnered with other developers for vinyl editions, and the Stellar Blade project adds to a growing catalog of high‑quality, remastered game music available to collectors. The exclusive coloured discs and detailed artwork are designed to appeal to both fans of the game and vinyl enthusiasts.

For Shift Up, the release marks another milestone in the studio’s expanding portfolio, which also includes the hit mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Founded by Kim Hyung‑tae in 2013, the company has positioned itself as a leading developer of action‑oriented titles in the Korean market.

Pre‑orders are currently open through Laced’s website and select retail partners. The vinyl editions are expected to ship in early 2027, with the 4‑LP set priced higher than the double‑LP set. The release offers fans a tangible way to experience the game’s music in a format that emphasizes audio fidelity and collectible design.
