Dirty Heads dropped their ninth studio effort, 7 Seas, on June 12 through Better Noise Music. The RIAA‑platinum‑certified reggae‑rock outfit from Huntington Beach blends hip‑hop, alternative rock and pop, and the new album continues that mix. The lead single, “2 Young,” features lead singer Duddy and his daughter Sophia Lynn and premiered with a visualizer on the band’s YouTube channel.

In addition to the album launch, the band unveiled a summer co‑headline run with 311 that kicks off July 11 in Shakopee, Minnesota. The 31‑date tour will hit venues across the United States and Canada, including the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, and the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. The schedule also incorporates headline dates and festival appearances in cities such as Bend, Oregon; Swanzey, New Hampshire; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Toronto, Canada.

7 Seas contains ten tracks: “Seven Seas,” “Soundboy Killa,” “2 Young” (feat. Sophia Lynn), “Future Self,” “Better,” “BADMAN” (feat. IRAH), “Stranded,” “Come My Way,” “Old Beach Town,” and “One of Those Days.” The title track has already surpassed 3.1 million streams and earned coverage from outlets such as Kill The Music and Daily Reggae. The follow‑up single, “One of Those Days,” has entered the Top 10 on alternative radio.

Earlier in the week, Dirty Heads hosted a listening party and Q&A at the Honda Lounge in iHeartRadio Studios, Los Angeles. The event, which featured an intimate discussion of the new album, is available for streaming on VEEPS.

The band also announced a partnership with 4ocean, a global organization dedicated to removing plastic from the oceans. Frontman Jared Watson joined a 4ocean crew for a beach cleanup at Key Largo’s John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Trash collected during the excursion was recycled into a Dirty Heads 4ocean bracelet, which fans can purchase to support further ocean cleanup efforts. The bracelet is also part of a limited‑edition premium vinyl release of 7 Seas, which is currently available for pre‑order on the band’s online store.

Dirty Heads formed in 2000 and have built a worldwide following, amassing over 3 billion streams and collaborating with artists such as Travis Barker, Nick Hexum, and Slash. Their platinum‑certified single “Vacation” and No. 1 alternative radio hit “Rescue Me” helped introduce the group to a new generation of listeners.

The 7 Seas album is available for streaming on major platforms and can be purchased digitally or on vinyl. The co‑headline tour with 311 runs from July 11 to August 30, covering 31 dates across North America. The band will continue to promote the new album, support environmental initiatives, and engage fans throughout the summer.

Dirty Heads have confirmed that the 7 Seas album will be released in both digital and physical formats, including a limited‑edition vinyl that includes the 4ocean bracelet.

With the album release and the summer tour announcement, Dirty Heads are poised to expand their reach while maintaining the signature sound that has defined their career for over two decades.
