Black Water Redemption, a hard‑rock outfit that emerged from the former band Western Sand, has announced the release of its self‑titled debut album, Black Water Redemption, scheduled for 2 October 2026. The announcement comes alongside the launch of the single “Ride Or Die,” which is now available on all major streaming platforms, and a series of headline dates across the United Kingdom.

The single follows the earlier release “Stand For Something” and gives listeners a preview of the album’s sound. According to the band’s statement, “Ride Or Die” was written quickly by guitarist Tyler Hains and bassist Dan DeVires. Hains said the track was intended to raise the tempo of the set and noted that the solo was “one of the most fun I’ve ever written,” channeling a “Zakk Wylde” style. He added that vocalist Adam Chambers contributed the title and concept, describing the song as “a relationship that’s a little unhinged but fiercely loyal, a real Thelma & Louise vibe.” The band said the track reflects the group’s mentality: “This is what we do, and it’s all or nothing.”

The album will be available worldwide on 2 October. Fans can hear it early at a pre‑release launch show on 25 September at The Bear Cave in Bournemouth. The event will be followed by a headline tour that starts in October and includes dates in Cardiff, Wolverhampton, Manchester and Newcastle. The tour schedule is: - 25 September – The Bear Cave, Bournemouth (Album Launch Show) - 22 October – Fuel Rock Club, Cardiff - 23 October – The Giffard Arms, Wolverhampton - 24 October – Gullivers, Manchester - 25 October – Trillians, Newcastle

Tickets are on sale through the band’s link.

Black Water Redemption’s lineup consists of Adam Chambers on vocals, Tyler Hains on guitar, Dan DeVires on bass and Chris Allen on drums. The band formed in 2022 after the dissolution of Western Sand, bringing together members who had previously shared stages with acts such as Black Star Riders, Michael Schenker, Inglorious and Skid Row. The group has built a reputation for a groove‑driven hard‑rock style that blends classic rock weight with contemporary energy and tight musicianship.

In a reflection on the album’s creation, Hains recalled that a year earlier the band was uncertain about its future. “We had no drummer, no singer and no clear plan,” he said. “Instead, we kept writing and recorded an entire album in a few months, brought in Chris Allen on drums and then Adam joined the band. The moment we heard him on the first track, we knew we’d found something special.” He added that the album is intended to be a true reflection of the band’s influences, playing style and love of hard rock, featuring “big riffs, guitar solos, huge choruses and the occasional rock scream.”

The single “Ride Or Die” is currently streaming on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and Ditto. The band’s official social media channels have promoted the release and the upcoming tour dates.

Black Water Redemption’s debut album marks the first full‑length release under its new name. The band’s history of touring with established acts and its focus on live performance suggest that the album will be positioned as a showcase of the group’s live energy. The October tour will provide a platform for the band to present the new material to audiences across the UK.

The announcement confirms the band’s plans to establish itself in the modern hard‑rock scene while maintaining ties to its classic‑rock roots. The release of “Ride Or Die,” the album, and the UK headline tour are the next steps in the band’s trajectory.
