Rival Sons are staging a full‑scale U.S. comeback with the 24‑date Domestic Bliss Tour, kicking off on October 30 in Boise, Idaho, and wrapping up on November 29 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The run marks the band’s first complete American trek in several years and will feature a setlist that spans the breadth of their nine‑album catalog.

"We’ve got a lot happening behind the scenes, but we wanted to carve out a window to bring the full U.S. tour back," frontman Jay Buchanan told reporters. Guitarist Scott Holiday added that the schedule offers a chance to return to cities they skipped during the last two album cycles. Drummer Michael Miley noted the group is approaching the new recording process differently this time and is eager about the material that is coming together.

The tour’s supporting acts reinforce its appeal. Canadian blues‑rock duo The Blue Stones will perform at several venues, including the House of Blues in Cleveland and the Palladium in Worcester, while Colorado trio The Velveteers will join on select dates. Their presence promises a strong lineup for fans across the country.

Rival Sons’ most recent releases—DARKFIGHTER and LIGHTBRINGER, the companion albums dropped in 2023—showcased two distinct sides of the band’s songwriting. Earlier this year, Buchanan released his solo debut, Weapons of Beauty, which peaked at No. 10 on the U.S. Americana chart.

The group is currently in the studio working on a new album slated for a 2027 release. While the band members say the material will be produced with a different approach than previous projects, specific details remain undisclosed.

The tour itinerary covers 24 stops across the U.S.: Boise, Seattle, Portland, Spokane, Sacramento, Reno, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Austin, Tulsa, Moline, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Silver Spring, Cincinnati, Cleveland, New Haven, Huntington, Worcester, Buffalo, Montclair, Memphis, Indianapolis, and Fort Wayne. Venues range from the Knitting Factory in Boise to the Clyde Theatre in Fort Wayne.

Formed in Long Beach, California, in 2009, Rival Sons are signed to Atlantic Records via Dave Cobb’s Low Country Sound imprint. The lineup consists of Jay Buchanan (lead vocals), Scott Holiday (guitar), Dave Beste (bass), and Michael Miley (drums). The band has released eight studio albums and one EP and has earned two Grammy nominations.

The Domestic Bliss Tour will feature a mix of tracks from the band’s early releases, such as the 2019 album Feral Roots, to newer songs from DARKFIGHTER and LIGHTBRINGER. The setlist is expected to showcase the breadth of the band’s work, appealing to long‑time fans and new listeners alike.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. A presale code—"BLISS"—offers early access, while the general sale opens on June 26 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

With a new album in development and a comprehensive tour that revisits the band’s full catalog, the Domestic Bliss Tour represents a significant chapter for Rival Sons, reaffirming their presence in the U.S. rock scene.
