Nothing Launches Club Nothing Nightlife Series and $40,000 Fund for Emerging Creators
The initiative targets grassroots organizers who run club nights, independent event series, or music festivals. The fund will award four international creatives $10,000 each, totaling $40,000. Winners receive the cash grant plus exposure through Nothing’s global community channels and the Club Nothing platform.
Applications opened on 1 July 2026 and will close on 9 August 2026. Submissions go through the portal at nothing.tech/club‑nothing, and winners will be announced later in August.
High‑profile music‑industry shareholders back the program. Charli XCX became Nothing’s Global Brand Ambassador and a shareholder on 12 May 2026, and other investors include The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia.
Club Nothing’s first event launches in New York City on 9 July 2026. The debut night will take place in an unexpected Brooklyn venue and will coincide with the launch of Nothing’s Ear (3a) audio devices. The series will move to Tokyo on 30 July and will continue to other cities worldwide.
Senior Community Manager Erica Travis said the project is “about creating spaces where people can come together around a shared love for music, while giving emerging creatives the platform and support they need to bring their ambitions to life.” The fund is positioned as an investment in the people and communities that inspire the brand.
The judging panel for the fund comprises industry professionals and creators such as DJ and producer Manuka Honey, multi‑hyphenate artist and Nothing communications head Shavone Charles, festival founder Erica Travis, Dazed music editor Solomon Pace‑McCarrick, A&R and publishing founder James Supreme, and music‑industry professional Layla Mustafa Rock.
Nothing’s entrance into nightlife follows its rapid expansion in consumer electronics. The company released its first product, Ear (1) wireless earbuds, in July 2021, followed by the Phone (1) smartphone in 2022. Subsequent releases include Phone (2), Ear (2), Phone (3), Ear (3), and in 2026 the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro. The brand is noted for its transparent hardware designs and the Glyph Interface, an LED lighting system on its phones.
The Club Nothing Fund is described as a “rare, corporate‑backed grant with deep roots in cutting‑edge music culture.” It aims to help creators realize projects ranging from a single club night to a recurring event series or a larger festival.
Applications will be evaluated by the panel above, and winners will gain visibility through Nothing’s community channels. The fund’s launch aligns with the company’s broader strategy of building a community around its products and expanding into lifestyle spaces.
The first Club Nothing event in New York City will showcase Nothing’s Ear (3a) devices and serve as a launchpad for the series’ global tour. The timing also dovetails with the company’s efforts to promote its audio products in key markets.
In short, Nothing’s Club Nothing initiative combines a nightlife event series with a grant program that offers $10,000 to four emerging creators. The fund is backed by prominent music figures, and the event series will begin in New York City before moving to Tokyo and beyond. Applications remain open until 9 August 2026, with winners announced later that month.
